Season One · From the Shelter Conference
Where Nigeria talks
about shelter
Thirty minutes with the people who design, finance, build, regulate and live in Nigerian housing. Recorded in Benin City. New episode every Tuesday at 19:00 WAT.

The latest episode
Episode 1 publishes on Tuesday 15 September
The season opens with the question everything else rests on: why a working Nigerian on a real salary cannot buy or build a home, and what would have to change for that to stop being true.
Where to find it
About the show
The conference is five days.
The conversation is all year.
TSC Talkshow is the Shelter Conference's own programme: what the conference has done, what it is doing now, what is coming next, and the arguments running through Nigerian housing in between.
One question an episode
Every episode is built around a single question, answered properly by someone who actually knows. No panels of four, no roundtables that go nowhere.
Made for a phone
Full episodes for when you have data, short clips for when you do not, audio for the drive, and the whole thing on WhatsApp where this audience already is.
An archive, not a broadcast
Every episode is transcribed and kept. Two seasons in, this becomes a body of recorded expertise on Nigerian shelter that did not exist before.
Season One
Episode guide
Twenty episodes from September 2026 to February 2027, in three arcs: the sprint to Benin City, five daily editions recorded on the conference floor, and the review that follows. Titles are working titles and guests are confirmed episode by episode.
Segments
What comes back every week
The main interview carries each episode. One of these runs alongside it.
Take part
Be a guest, or send us someone better
We are looking for people with something specific to say about housing, construction, land, finance, materials, policy or community development in Nigeria — practitioners over pundits, always.

Sponsorship
Own a segment, a season,
or the week the conference happens
The show reaches the same audience the conference sells to — developers, investors, manufacturers, regulators, institutions and the students and young professionals entering the sector — and it reaches them all year rather than for five days. Sponsorship is priced to be added to a conference package, not to compete with it.

What a sponsor gets that a banner cannot give
An episode is watched, shared, clipped, transcribed and archived. A sponsor attached to a segment appears every fortnight for a season, in the description of every episode, and in whatever the show is still being watched for a year from now.
What a sponsor does not get
Editorial approval. No sponsor sees an episode before it publishes and no sponsor approves content. Sponsored segments are announced as sponsored, on screen and in the description. This protects the audience, and with it the value of the sponsorship.
New episode every Tuesday, 19:00 WAT
Season One runs to February. The five daily editions from the conference floor land 30 November to 4 December.
